2009 Five-Year Program Review

 

On Monday July 27, 2009 there was a public meeting about the Catoctin Creek TMDL Implementation project.  This was a review of the 5 years of TMDL implementation efforts by local and state governments and agencies and citizen stream volunteers and monitors to reduce the bacteria levels in the Catoctin Watershed between Purcellville and Lovettsville. Meeting was at Ida Lee in Leesburg.

Catoctin Creek Clean-up will be held. 

Every April, Keep Loudoun Beautiful and the Lovettsville Boy Scout Troop 962 conduct stream clean-ups to help keep Catoctin Creek scenic. Catoctin Creek is a picturesque and valuable water resource to the community and the county. With your help, we are expanding the clean-up activities to increase community-wide awareness and celebration our beautiful stream.
