Pick up Passport at the first Station when you arrive. Visit all Stations to get stamped and complete your passport.

On Saturday, October 18 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, the 13th annual "Family Stream Day" will be held at Lyndora Park in Ashburn. This year's event is co-hosted by the Loudoun Environmental Stewardship Alliance (LESA) and Loudoun Watershed Watch and will offer a number of family-friendly hands-on activities that relate to the health of county streams. Activity booths will be outside if weather permits and inside in the Loudoun Valley Estates Community Center if weather is inclement or too windy so prepare to stop by rain or shine and have a great time. The day's events will include:
  • Outdoor nature walks (weather permitting)
  • Macroinvertebrate (stream/pond critters) collection and identification
  • Soil erosion activities
  • Tree identification
  • Stormwater management
  • Water quality testing
  • Watersheds and finding your watershed address
  • Water conservation
Poster, Prose and Photography Contest This years theme is "Stream Dreams and Aquatic Adventures", Entries are due October 6th for the contest. Grand prize is a $25 certificate for top three entries provided by Loudoun Soil and Water Conservation District and Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy!
